| One of
the toughest opening holes in the area, the 462-yard par-4
first hole starts with an elevated tee shot that descends onto a level
fairway at the 200-yard marker. Afterwards, the fairway
begins a 45-degree
slope
from the 160-yard point until the 120-yard point. Two narrow
fairway bunkers on the right invite any stray
or weak drives, but they should not come into play for longer, accurate
hitters.
Errant shots to the left feed quickly into an out-of bounds
area along the left side. |
 |
| The
green is reachable with two solid shots, but
the green is well protected by bunkers that guard the left
side and rear. Those who choose to lay up should note the location of
the green-side bunker on the left, and a large tree blocking the
left side of the green. |
 |
 |
| This
green will receive high shots well, so
take dead aim at the flag stick with your approach because the large putting
surface can quickly lead to a three putt. |
