The
last hole, the par-4 number eighteen, provides the
final
challenge. The tee shot
must be played to favor the right center of the fairway in order to set
up for the second shot. Two fairway bunkers protect the right
side, while any tee shot toward the left will feed out-of-bounds
quickly. The second shot plays a good club or two longer than usual because of the uphill lie. Getting to the green is only half the problem. The real test will be getting the ball in the cup. The two-tiered green has a hefty slope from back to front and left to right. If the pin position is on the front, don't go long or you will really be sorry!
