Course
Rules, Regulations, and Guest Fee Rates
As
of July 1, 2008
Check in
at the golf shop before
using the range or
beginning play.
In the interest of
all,
players should play without delay. If a group of players fails to keep
pace on
the course and falls behind so that there is at least one clear hole in
front
of them, that group should allow the group behind them to pass or
“play
through.” Please remember that singles, twosomes, or
threesomes do not necessarily
have the right-of-way over foursomes.

Guest Privileges
For a guest
to qualify for
the member’s guest fee, the member must accompany the guest
throughout the golf round. Members may not bring a guest,
sign
them in, and
leave. Also
members cannot call and prearrange for a guest to play unaccompanied at
the
member guest rate.
When course volume allows,
members may facilitate an out-of-town guest to play unaccompanied, but
the fee
charged under this circumstance will be the unaccompanied guest rate.

Food
and Beverage
Members
may charge drinks and food off the beverage carts. Just sign and give
the membership
number, and note any tips.
Guests
may use the WindStone Grill only when
accompanied by a member.
As
with most clubs, the ability to keep fees low is impacted by food and
beverage
sales. Therefore, no outside beverages, food, or outside coolers are
permitted
on the WindStone golf course at anytime.
For convenience, the club provides coolers, a
beverage cart, and snacks
and beverages. Soon
food will also be
available at the WindStone Grill. Please abide by this rule and avoid a
potentially embarrassing situation.
Golf Shop personnel
are responsible to the General Manager/Head Golf Professional in
carrying out the rules and regulations established by club. They act as
starters and as salesmen for Golf Shop
merchandise. The Golf Shop is open from dawn to dusk The Shop
is
closed all day
Christmas Day.
Players must register themselves and guests by name in the
Golf Shop
before starting play. Players will be started by the Golf Shop
Starters in order of tee times.
To
avoid delays, members are encouraged to make tee times in advance. Tee
time
players have priority over walk-ins.
The following holidays are those on which play is restricted. This
means that only members with 7-day memberships are eligible
to
play on these holidays, as listed under Membership classifications
above:
New Year's Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day,
Memorial Day, and July 4th.
Christmas Day
(Golf Course closed)
The driving range is for
the use of club members. Only
members and eligible family members may use the
range as part of their all-inclusive membership package. The range user
fee for a guest with a member is $10.00 per
session, payable at check-in, except that if the guest has paid to play
a round of golf with a member, the guest is entitled to use the range
for that round at no extra cost.
The range is open from 7:30 a.m. daily and generally closes 30 minutes
prior to
sunset each evening.
The ranges closes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday during the summer to
allow the range
to be picked cleaned for mowing.
Wooded
areas have sharp
rocks, hidden stumps, and tree limbs that often damage carts. Please
keep the
carts out of these areas to avoid damage to our new carts. It is the
responsibility of members to advise guests to refrain from driving
carts among the
trees.
Carts are not allowed off
the path within 30 yards of tees and greens. Carts shall return from
the
fairway to the path at least thirty yards before reaching the green. To
protect
grass near the greens and tees, inside this 30-yard buffer all four
tires must
remain on the concrete paths.
All play must start at the first tee unless approved by the Golf Shop
staff.
Players are required to REPLACE DIVOTS, RAKE SAND TRAPS, REPAIR BALL
MARKS ON GREENS and help maintain the condition of the course. It is
the players' responsibility to see that such repairs are made.
All players must respect signs directing foot and cart traffic on the
course.
No fivesomes are permitted on this course.
If a group fails to keep its pace on the
course and loses more than one clear hole on the players in front, it
must allow the group following to pass.
The play on the golf course shall be governed by the rules of the
United States Golf Association, except as modified by local rules which
are posted in the Club House.
The Staff welcomes suggestions. Complaints should be made in writing
over the complainant's signature and addressed to the Golf Course
Manager, or via e-mail to windstone@catt.com.
Unauthorized persons playing the course will be asked to leave
immediately.
Children are not permitted in the Club House unless accompanied and
supervised by an adult.
Dogs are not allowed in the Club House or on the course.
To maintain the image
of the
club as a first class facility, all members and guests are expected to
abide by
a few simple dress code rules. These rules apply to both the
course and
driving range. Those who attempt to check in with
inappropriate golf attire
will not be allowed to play. Jeans,
cut
offs and tank tops are not appropriate attire. Gentlemen may wear
slacks, Bermuda-length
shorts, and collared shirts Ladies may wear slacks, Bermuda- length
shorts, and
skirts.
